Mud Riding
The best way to aproach mud is to carry adequate momentum and speed at all times. You must stay loose on the bike and do not overcontrol or fight the bike. This way, with small corrections, you can make the bike go where you want it to go.
Carrying enough speed and momentum is important not only because it will allow you to climb hills and obstacles, but sufficient speed will also keep your tires from becoming clogged with mud and provide improved traction.
Don't fight the bike and use higher gears to avoid excessive wheel spin. Lastly, practice in varying muddy conditions so that you can fine tune your riding techniques in muddy conditions.
Good riding and don't hesitate to contact me via e-mail for more information and techniques!
