Options & Upgrades
While the
3-star hotels offered on our Economy Tours are clean and comfortable,
you may want some nicer digs on the trail.
MotoAdventures
has added a new hotel option to our Economy Tour - the Pico Blanco
Hotel. This hotel, located in the mountains of Escazu, offers
a spectacular high-altitude
view of the Central Valley in which San Jose is located.
The Pico Blanco offers
typical Costa Rican atmosphere and hospitaility and allows our
customers to experience an excellent example of a semi-rural Costa
Rican Hotel. The Pico Blanco Hotel is clean, safe and comfortable
and offers cable TV in each room.
Choose our Regular Tour,
which includes 4-star hotels (where available), for $2,795.00

Motorcycle
Damage Insurance
MotoAdventures requires that our guests obtain motorcycle damage
insurance prior to starting our tours. Our new 2003 and 2004 Honda
XR400R motorcycles represent a significant investment by MotoAdventures
to provide you - our customer - with the finest offroad motorcycling
experience possible. This motorcycle damage insurance is only
for major damage to our motorcycles and not
for the normal wear and tear and scratches associated with offroad
riding and resulting from minor crashes.
We offer the following
two motorcycle damage insurance options for our guests:
- A fully refundable
damage deposit of $600 US (if no damage occurs). If the bike
is severely damaged, MotoAdventures will deduct the amount for
repairs from the deposit and return the unused balance of your
deposit to you. If damage is in excess of $600 US occurs, you
will not be liable for any amount in excess of your deposit.
- A non-refundable insurance
payment of $100 US. If the bike is severely damaged, you will
not be liable for any amount of the damage beyond your non-refundable
deposit of $100 US.
